Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Aeonis Roof (operated by AEONIS LLC, a Florida limited liability company (Sunbiz document L23000329497)) collects, why, who processes it, and your choices.

What we collect

• Addresses you look up and the resulting building outline, saved reports (address, outline, area, prices) and your company settings (company name, lead email, phone, website, prices).
• Widget leads: when a homeowner uses a roofer's quote widget, the name, phone, email, address, note and estimate they submit. We process this on behalf of that roofer and email it to the roofer.
• Early-access list: your email address if you join.
• Technical data: a salted hash of your IP address for rate limiting; usage counters; error logs.

How addresses are processed

Text you type in the address box is sent from our server to Esri's geocoding service for suggestions and location (results are used to show the map and are not stored by us), and may be sent to the U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder and Photon (komoot, OpenStreetMap data) as fallbacks. Coordinates are sent to Esri-hosted FEMA USA Structures and to our own copies of open building data to find the outline. Map tiles are fetched from Esri through our server.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party trackers. The app stores data your browser needs to work (for example your workspace key, drafts and settings) in your browser's local storage. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings; you will lose access to data stored only on that device.

Rate limiting and security

To prevent abuse we store a salted, one-way hash of your network (IP) address together with daily usage counters. Our host, Cloudflare, also processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the service.

Service providers

We use these providers to run the service. They process data on our behalf or as independent services as described:

• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, content delivery, security, and our database (Cloudflare D1).
• Esri (USA): address suggestions, geocoding and satellite imagery tiles, requested by our server.
• U.S. Census Bureau and komoot Photon: fallback address matching.
• Brevo / Sendinblue SAS (France): sending transactional emails (new-lead emails to roofers). Email addresses and message content pass through Brevo.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to the providers above, when required by law, or to protect rights and safety.

Retention

Address lookups from public geocoders are cached for up to 90 days. Saved reports, leads and shared documents are kept until you ask us to delete them. Signed documents and their signature records are kept for at least as long as the business on the document may need them as a legal record, unless deletion is required by law. Early-access emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

Email ronald@aeonis.pro to access, correct or delete your data, or to unsubscribe. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado or the EU/UK) you may have additional rights; we will honor them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

The service is for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International transfers

Data is processed in the United States and, for email delivery, by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) in the European Union.

Changes

We will post changes here with a new date and, for material changes, notify users we can reach by email.
